Asbestos Management Survey All non domestic buildings constructed or modified prior to 1999 require an asbestos survey. The purpose of an asbestos management survey is to locate as far as reasonably practicable, any suspected asbestos containing materials (ACM's) within a building and assess the risk they present during normal occupancy. The asbestos management survey locates the presence, type, condition and extent of asbestos within a building. All areas of the building should be inspected to include above false ceilings, within service risers, lift shafts, beneath floor coverings etc. Upon completion of the asbestos survey, sample analysis results, site floor plans and site data will be compiled into a user friendly asbestos survey report, to include an asbestos register and remedial recommendations where appropriate. This is available electronically 24 hours following survey completion.
